Volunteers

Why Volunteer?

At FC Birrarung, we believe that our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community. Whether you’re a parent, a seasoned soccer enthusiast, or just someone looking to make a difference, there are numerous opportunities for you to get involved and contribute to our vibrant soccer community.

Volunteering with us means more than just supporting a sports team; it’s about fostering a love for the game, building friendships, and creating a positive impact in the lives of our players and the wider community. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels to join our dedicated team of volunteers.

Explore our volunteer opportunities, learn how you can contribute your skills and passion, and discover the joy of being part of something bigger than yourself. Together, we can inspire the next generation of soccer players and create unforgettable experiences for everyone involved. Thank you for considering joining us in this exciting journey!

Please note that you will need a Working With Children check to be able to volunteer for our Junior teams.

How to Volunteer?

We will be updating our volunteer roles and how to get involved as we get closer to the 2025 season.

Each of our teams needs a Coach and a Team Manager to function properly during the year. Generally, these roles are volunteered from the parents of our junior team players.

However, we also survive on the assistance of

  • Committee Members
  • Marshals
  • Canteen
  • Merchandise & Uniforms
  • Game Day setup & operations

If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch administration@fcbirrarung.com or contact a Committee Member.

Volunteer Recogition

We will be looking at ways to publicly recognise & reward our volunteers during the 2025 season.
