FC Birrarung’s strategy is centred on cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community through football.
With a strong focus on player development, enjoyment, and fair play, the club seeks to make a positive impact both on and off the field. Guided by the belief that the community can be enriched through shared positive experiences in sport, FC Birrarung aims to empower individuals and bring people together.
The club’s purpose is to build a stronger community by inspiring individuals to reach their full potential through the love of football. This strategy forms the foundation for all FC Birrarung’s initiatives, from youth development to community engagement, ensuring a holistic approach to sport and social connection.

2028 Strategy
During the 2024 season, the Strategy sub-committee completed a strategy refresh and long-term planning exercise. As part of this process, we interviewed our stakeholders, surveyed our members, and gathered feedback from our governing body Football Victoria.

Our 2028 strategy has six pillars.

Education and respect underscore the club’s commitment to personal growth and good sporting behaviour, encouraging players to develop both on and off the field.
